Ok so I'm reeeaaaallllly ticked off. I was watching TV and I saw a commercial for a new movie called ninja assassin. Just from the previews it sounds very similar to the story I am writing:

Sucky description of plot:
A young girl raised to be an assassin, a killer. Not allowed to get close to anyone other then the people she works with. But she needs to be cautious even with them. On one of her assignments she gets into a fight and gets slashed in her right eye, causing instant blindness. She looses the fight and barely escapes with her life. She returns to the organization, her home only to find that she is no longer welcome there. The leader, Rose deems her useless and a failure. She orders the other members to kill her. Holli, hurt and confused runs as fast as she can away from her home, away from the people she had learned to trust. She tries to start life over, make the right decisions after finally realizing what she was doing was wrong, and killing people was bad. However because she is a target of the organization she has to be very careful. She has many encounters with people from her past. She is afraid to make friends because if she does they to will become targets. Not to mention because of her eye she is viewed by many people as a monster.

So yea there are many similarities but also many differences. Im just frustrated.
And the movie does look awesome but still.... grrr
